Just a quick question sub - are we likely to see MHEG5 support in GB-PVR at all? It'll obviously solve a lot of EPG problems for NZers!

I dont know. Maybe one day.

I thought I'd sovled that for NZers with the DvbToXMLTV utility. It works great for me. No more web scraping etc.

Admittedly we'll soon start to have DVB users that dont have access full EPG broadcast with DVB-S, which will leave them back at having a EPG problem. After the DVB-T system launches, I may look into extracting the EPG data from MHEG5 (for saving to xmltv file), but I probably wont bother creating an MHEG5 viewer.

That would be the perfect solution for those people who don't have a DVB-S card. It would certainly be something I'd use.

That is exactly what I am looking for. Am setting myself up with DVB-T but don't have access to satellite sooo I will be looking forward to any progress on this.
