I just build them myself. Makes incremental upgrades easier.
My buddy phoned me and wanted to know why his mobo didn't work. i asked him what he did. h esaid he replaced the Powersupply when the last one failed. i went over all the cable connections with him, double checked the specs on the power supply vs the drives and stuff he was running, and came to the conclusion that the new power supply (a thermaltake) was DOA. At this point i tell him to take the new powersupply out of the case. He says it is already out, he had just plugged in cables for testing. I ask him "why?" He says because the Powersupply will not bolt into the case correctly. i am astonished and ponder this for a minute...... I ask him where he got the computer. He answers "Dell." From past experience in repair knowing that Dell has wonderful proprietory pin configurations, I laugh loudly into the phone, tell him he is "effed", and promply hang up.
Gotta love proprietory stuff!!
