I currently use the EWA access to manage recordings (no streaming) from 3 different devices.
-the laptop to set a recording without booting the PVR
-sisters computer to set things while at her house.
-the cel phone while anywhere else.

I notice that if I set it to the "mobile" skin from the phone, it will keep that setting for the phone on later logins, but not affect the other computers.

however, if I set it to have minimal text and links, and a smaller timeline, it will affect anything that logs on.

my question is--
can it be made so the other settings are device specific and remembered like the skin setting??

It is a balance between cookie vs. general settings.....cookies provide the convienience of individual machine setting but also bring the drawback of loosing the settings due to various cookie blockers or work environments that prevent the setting of cookies.

The current configuration has tried to provide as much capability via cookies without sacrificing too much to the cookies problems.
