I'm thinking about picking up a Media Center Keyboard for general web surfing and stuff on my PVR in the living room.
I found an OEM model for a really good price (doesn't have the receiver) but since I already have an MCE receiver for the remote, I figure I'm okay.
Since I use HIP with the remote (and had to patch to the alternate IR Driver), can I still use this keyboard without having to use HIP for the keyboard and mouse part?
I seem to remember that GBPVR worked without using HIP, but it would send double down and up arrow commands which made menu navigation difficult - so I used the alternate driver and HIP.
Oh, and I'm using XP Pro, not MCE.
Basically, is anyone using this keyboard and can you let me know if there are any pitfalls with it? Just trying to get some honest opinions before I spend the money .
