I'm shopping around for a new wireless keyboard and would like to know what people are using on their systems. I'm looking something with a small form factor (i.e. no number pad) and integrated touchpad, trackball or thumbstick. I'd also like to keep it under $100.

Thanks,
pete

Two come to mind -

http://www.amazon.com/Adesso-WIRELESS-SL...B00083Y0YG

for really tiny - go with

http://www.amazon.com/Unisen-KP-810-02-i...B003BEWP6Y

I use them both and like them - the ipazz has unbelievable battery life

Thanks for the reply. I currently have the ipazz, but I'm not really happy with the tiny keyboard. The Adesso looks like a better choice for me.

I have used a BTC 9019URF keyboard for about 4 years now. It was cheap and pretty bullet proof. It has been dropped many times and still works great and is easy on batteries. The joystick is really easy to use, unlike the pushbutton type.

Have a look at this:

http://www.engadget.com/2010/11/10/logit...available/

This is Logitechs replacement for their very succesful Di Novo Mini keyboard which I own. Exceptional quality.

i just saw the new HP mini wireless keyboards...and it's now my favorite all time for a mini wireless w/mouse!
$39 at fry's, it has a cool thumb led that is like a optical mouse where you move your finger, not the mouse..like an upside down laser mouse...[or blackberry]
built as solid as a rock...i love it...not the fastest typing, but feels great and tiny and light but not too light..
"OFN (Optical Finger Navigation) - Smooth and accurate pointing with advanced technology optical finger navigation that has no moving parts that can break and need cleaning."
you push the optical part for button 2... button 1 is on left side of keyboard...

EDIT: taking it back cuz the Fn modifyer key is pressed by default! meaning F1 F2 F3 etc need the Fn button pressed also to be Fxx keys...by default they are multimedia keys..
[so for F1 you must hit Fn + F1]

the optical thumb mouse button is also too close to DELETE key!! so you have to place your thumb on it horizontally to avoid hitting Delete of all things...
i'll look into the other version with an actual trackball on it to see if it's the same...
i plan on using it for a bit more than just tv so it needs to be somewhat fast/easy to type on...

all that said, for a coffee table keyboard+mouse it is still quite nice...small but nice for occasional use...rubberized feel coating, solid and responsive..

i ended up going for this one:
excellent control and keys, full multimedia keyset and scroll wheel on front..
excellent feel and shape, feels easy to hold and type on, fits on lap securely..
no software, all multimedia keys reprogrammable with appcmd registry entry..
i didn't get the remote but it looks fantastic...
all in all much happier with this one...Smile
mine is jet black so reminds me of Batman...The BatBoard..lol
