Live TV Lose Audio about 3 minutes in

I have an Asus m2n sli deluxe with SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio. The tuner I have is tv wonder 650. about 3 minutes into the live tv program I get pops in the audio and gaps and it get worse until there is no sound. then if I change channels the sound is back and is fine for a little bit. I can get rid of this problem by selecting for the audio renderer "cyberlink audio renderer (PDVD7.x)" and this helps until I change a channel then the lips are out of sync with the audio... any ideas? Thanks

I get out of sync audio half the time with live ATSC no matter what I do. Even though it shouldn't affect it, ATI mux kept live TV in sync. But it would ruin half the recordings, so I dumped it.

Pretty much everyone keeps audio renderer on System Default.

Most people use FFdshow or AC3filter for audio decoder. Not sure what you're using.

So far It appears to only be the live tv. I have not had much time yet to really check other area like the recordings and such.
