i get conflicts fairly often after epg update (understandbly) from recurring recordings. would be nice if a pop up advised you of a conflict - and maybe a reccuring priority list, so if the conflict does occur + nothing is done, it records the higher priority show.

I'm not sure a popup would work (I have no screen on my server Wink.

But maybe some indication on the main menu (warning message across bottom, red background) on clients, mvps etc would be a good indication.

I like the idea of having a high priority recurring feature.
I certainly have some rarely matched recurring entries that I would sacrifice anything else for.

It may not seem obvious, but there is already a priority system for season recordings. When you view the 'Recurring' list in the Recordings screen, those near the top of the list take priority over those further down. You can adjust the priority by selecting an item, then pressing either FF/RW to move it up/down the list.

An understatement Big Grin

Thanks for that, at least I can force my rarely broadcast shows to the top of the list.

I guess that's why my way earlier request for a sorted "recurring" list fell by the wayside.

thanks.

I personally don't use the season recording features so have never read up on it, but is this info on the wiki anywhere?

Does this mean that you pour over the EPG or the TV magazines to find things to record. I'd say 80% of my recordings are derived from being picked up as season recordings (even if they only come up once a month or so).
