Is there a list of what each of the logs does?

I'd love to know where to go in the logs to look for certain types of problems. (Not that they happen much, good job Sub!)

Could we get a sticky in the this forum?

Also, if folks could post where they put their log info for plugins they write, that would be cool!

Sorry, there isnt such a list.

Basically stuff about recordings happening, and background processes like EPG updating etc, all output to the recording service logs. Things about the client application and plugins etc go in PVRX2.exe.log. Things about directshow filters go in the PVRX2.exe-native.log. Things about the directshow filters used during a recording go in GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log.

Errors in loading plugins in the config.exe program will show up in the config.exe.log as well.
