Hi,
I was wondering if it is necessary to have a soundcard installed on the machine running GB-PVR?
The reason is that I´m running a purpose built WHS at home on which I´m thinking of installing GB-PVR but I´d like to keep the installed hardware/drivers down to a minimum too eliminate as many fault sources as possible.
My Hardware:
ASUS P5KPL-VM Motherboard (with Integrated G31 Graphics, Realtek HD Sound, Gigabit LAN)
Intel Celeron DuoCore 1,6 GHz
2 Gb RAM
Promise S-ATA300 TX2-Plus
Terratec Cinergy T XS Hybrid USB TV-Tuner (BDA Driver)
1 320 Gb HD Main HD
6 500 Gb HD (DATA)
1 400 Gb HD (Recording Drive, not part of the drive extension WHS uses)
Windows Home Server
