I recorded some shows last night with my Hauppauge PVR-150, and none of them have audio when played back. I've been recording shows with the tuner for about a week now and haven't had this problem. I also don't have this problem anymore. When I recorded these shows, I believe I had the sound icon in my system tray muted, would that cause cause my recordings to have muted sound? Thanks in advance for your help.

The PVR150 drivers are reknowned for producing occasional recordings with audio missing. Try there most recent drivers - they've been trying to fix these issues in the last few drivers.

the beta drivers or the stable drivers? I'm using the newest stable drivers. But I am able to mute my sound card and my recordings should still have sound?

Royle, you need to remember that the recording service and the GUI are different applications, and that the soundcard and your capture card are different cards.

Questions:
1. Do you record off a set-top box, or antenna / cable?
2. If #1 answer is set-top box, did you hook the audio output of the STB into your capture card or to your soundcard?
3. If #2 is 'to the capture card' then you should have no problem.

Muting the recording level of the soundcard should have no effect on the recordings done through the capture card.
