Okay so I pulled my media centre to pieces to find I have the s plus rather than the s, so i thought yippee off to the hauppauge webiste to download the latest driver from the support page, install and go ... nope same problem ... delete scan caches ... nope same problem

What driver do i need to make this work? does anyone have a link? Have I completely missed something?

Is anyone using the s-plus successfully? do I just save my pennies and try to get a 4000 in the next 3 to 4 months?

Please help me the GF is getting frustrated

Can you do a scan then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log?

Yes, leave it set to the default 'debug' log level.
