I think I have found my answer by reading this post http://forums.gbpvr.com//showthread.php?...erid=18180. I am having problems using the s-video tv out on my ATI video card. I get a rolling picture, no color, very fuzzy. Can some please confirm that the above post is what I need to do? Or do I need to try something else? I am trying to set it up on my crt monitor and then move computer to where the tv is located.

Welcome to gbpvr!

with a s-video to scart cable you should get a decent picture on crt tv.

Are you having a problem getting it to work on your monitor using VGA cable? Your post seems to suggest you are connecting s-video to your monitor (mabe I mis-read it)

rolling picture sounds like refresh rate is wrong.
no colour sounds like tv does not accept RGB input from scart (only composite) or a bad cable.

On a seperate note, the 9000 is a bit weedy. The minimum spec ATI card I have seen on the forum is the 9250.

if you're trying to do ntsc, it sounds like youve got video card set for PAL...
sometimes there's a jumper on the card that sets the standard, but usually it's in the driver...
set to pal it will have no color, and lost sync on vert. [rolling picture]
