bbc123 missing in epg

Enviroment : Fresh install 1.2.9 on WinXPsp2

Problem : Normal epg except no details for bbc1 bbc2 bbc3

Self help : Complete EPG reload unchecked. EPG harvest time increased in config.xml (<DvbEpgHarvestDuration>240</DvbEpgHarvestDuration>). Multiple cycles of 'Update EPG' from the 'System' screen.

I've read all the other relevant posts but can't identify any further ideas. Suggestions please.

I think it'd be Config.exe.log and Config.exe-native.log for the time you did the last scan.

Something looks wrong with your channel mappsing for BBC 1/2/3. See the third number for each of these channels is set to zero. It should be 9018. For example, I can see it found channels for '4170-4106-9018' (aka BBC1), so if the mapping had been correct it would have added the channels. The channels were the same.

You might be able to rescan and remap those specific channels, otherwise you might need to setup that capture source again.

I tried to rescan and then tried to setup the capture cards again but with odd results. I then did a clean install. Bbc1 and bbc2 are now showing in the epg. However a number of channels including bbc3 are missing. I will try rescanning a bit later in the day and report back.

ISTR BBC3 (and maybe some of the ITV ones) don't transmit until after 7pm, so you will have to scan after that to find it.

SOLVED. A clean install followed by a scan after 19:00 hrs solved all the problems. Thanks all.
