Hi,

Anyone know if it's possible to turn off the display of certain plugins when using the MVP interface? The DVD plugin is turned off for the MVP so it can be done.

I'd like to de-clutter some of the display. For me, the Exit and DVD2MPEG plugins aren't useful on the MVP, I only use them on the PC.

Thanks!

Yes, its possible. In the config, visit the "plugins" tab. This shows a checkbox for each plugin. It also allows you to create sub menus if you wish (so you can move the cluter to its own menu).

The plugin itself has a call to see if it is running on an MVP or not. That is probably what the DVD plugin is doing.

Thanks for the reply, Sub. I don't think I was particularly clear in my original question. Basically I actually want a plugin to display on the PC, but turn it off when on the MVP.

Yeah, I got this after I posted. Sorry - no, this is currently not possible by user.

I just posted an update of the Video Archive plug-in that includes the functionality ofthe DVD2MPLEG plug-in. To get to it you press the Yellow button (which brings up your list of DVDs) and then the blue button to display the DVD to MPEGF conversion dialog. This way you don;t have to clutter up the menu with the DVD2MPEG plug in and it is there when you need it. See link to community announcement forum for more info.
