Couple of things. First:
Quote:2008-06-13 21:40:21.328 VERBOSE ConnectFilters@3 got dest pin
2008-06-13 21:40:21.328 VERBOSE Connection attempt failed: 0x80004002
Error code : 80004002
E_NOINTERFACE
The requested COM interface is not available
sub wil need to explain this error for us. I'm not sure if it is a problem or not.

Other than that, you are locking onto a signal with good signal strength and quality. It doesn't like the filters you are using though. Can you post the logs from the machine that is working so we can see what filters are being used on it?

I would suggest downloading AC3Filter and setting that as you MPEG audio decoder though.

Ok here are my two logs, it does look like it is at the ConnectFilters@4 debug. Not sure what it is looking at there but I assume it has to do with me copying over the folder instead of running the scan on the "bad" machine. I did install the AC3Filters on the "bad" machine and it still does not work.

Unfortunately I will need sub's expertise on this one. I'm not sure which connection is causing the failure or why. I'll bump the thread in a few days when he should be back home.

So, wow, I got it working! What I did was go into the registry for Silicondust's software and added the keys: BDADemodulator = 8VSB, BDAPIDFilter = Disabled, ChannelMapping = Remap. Not sure what those did but it was set up that way on my working machine and it made my htpc work also. So that's awesome. And thanks you guys for your help.

But I have another problem, my recording of shows doesn't seem to be working. I just tried a manual record of a show and nothing seemed to happen. Any insight?
