I wouldn't touch the Pinnacle PCTV MediaCenter 300i with a barge pole!
Can't get it to work with GBPVR, which I'm trying out since I can't get it to work with its own software!!! Pinnacle suggest installing various fixes in their own software and when that doesn't work they suggest buying a new PC. Better to buy someone else's TV card.

I've got my Pinncacle 300i working with GB-PVR. Can't tell you how reliable or really how well it works as I'm running off a indoor aerial so its on the back burner till I move house but unless a bus passes or a person sneezes within 3 miles of my house the picture is normal, sound is stereo and the recording option and timeshift work.

The remote that comes with it is a nightmare as the receiever plugs into the back of the card. I gave up trying to find a girder plug in for it and am having some success with uIce and an ancient Tekram IRMate dongle.

Can't say I would recommend the card either though I am going to stick with it now.
