Here goes, sorry if this turns out to be long winded, and i'll try and explain as clear as possible.

I have always had this problem, when i accidentally set a recording in the guide and forget to set the record all episodes option,
1)when i go in to the recoding update option, i cant update it to record the whole season, it will not allow me to change the option from record once to record all episodes, (on an aside note, non of the recordings reflect the record all episodes if i go into update screen via guide, I only find this info in pending recordings menu)
2)If i cancel the recording, and then try to reschedule the recording for a season, it does not change from green to red in the Guide, and i am unsure that it has set a recording, my inclination is that it has not.
3) last night i went into pending recordings, and from what i gathered all the season recordings are listed first, then all the individual ones are listed under it, and i see that it has duplicated the one recording i tried to set up in option 2 above (this is because i tried several times to get it to change from green to red, by selecting record all episodes, but it never changed)

So my question is, is there a way to update via option 1 above,
and how do i correct option 2, get the recording to update (does anyone else have this problem, does it relate to a limitation or is it just an issue i have)
and will my recordings still record even if there are duplicates as stated in option 3 and the actual tv guide does not change?

(1) I'm fairly sure I have the same problem as you. Yes, just tried it, can't change the "recording type". (maybe I shouldn't say "problem")

(2) If I cancel the recording in (1) above and then re-record with the season option - it does go red in the guide and is in the pending list.

(3) I think you're wrong here - pending recordings shows what is queued up for recording just in date/time order.

I've not seen duplicates, so can't answer that one.

Oops my mistake, i ment to say i looked in the reccuring menu and it showed as duplicates, we can forget i said the other thing.

But i just re-tested it to make sure i wasnt going crazy and it doesnt turn red but shows in the reccurring menu

Not sure what the bug could be, i have posted my log, i was using the price is right as my example
