Stop recording live tv

Hello

I'm new to gbpvr using xpsp and my hauppauge 150mce
Everything working fine... Smile

just some questions:

when i watch livetv, everthing is recorded directly...
so channelswitching is very slow
i don't want to record when i'm just watching

can i disable it?
(not pausing record, because then i cannot watch tv anymore)

You cant disable recording for live tv. Its done this way for compatibility with some of the devices GB-PVR supports.
