Addepisode infected?

Latest AVG reports that Addepisode.exe is infected with Autoit.BMM trojan.
Any ideas?

False positive most likely. AutoIT is used by some viruses and some AV software are very liberal in labeling any AutoIT script as a virus.

So, I'm supposed to remove my antivirus every time I want to do a recording?
Any workaround that might help? My AV won't let me ignore the file, even though i've excluded the whole folder from checking, it still won't let the file run after a recording.

Have you tried re-downloading addepisode from the wiki, just in case the copy you have is corrupted/infected?

If your exclusions aren't working, it should be reported to Grisoft.

btw: javawiz very kindly wrote a new addepisode-like utility that I have found works perfectly. Addepisode became very unreliable for me (failed recordings) after one of the gbpvr updates.

AVG free will exclude a folder/file during it's scan, but if the file/folder is opened, it's scanned, thus not excluded.

I finally found WizUtilities on the wiki and set it up. Slightly more confusing than addepisode, but now working splendidly

Unfortunately, I bought a new pc with vista, and WizRenameRecording will not work for me.
