Hello - hopefully somebody may be able to help - cos this looks like a neat package!  I have downloaded and configured GB-PVR but when I run it I get an error message from the C++ debug library stating "Debug Assertion failed" (see attached).  I'm using a Videoh! adapter through a Windows XP pc.  I'm assuming that there is a simple step I've missed out - I think I have dot net running properly but I don't know how to check it.  I'd really appreciate a response - thanks

Only the USB version of the Videoh is supported, and I suspect you have the PCI version? This error message normally means the Recording Service failed to connect the required components, which is often the result of either the wrong card type being selected, or in the case of the Videoh - trying to use it with the PCI version.

You are right (and thanks for the quick reply) I am using the PCI version. So I guess I have made an error in buying the version I did. Just because I wanted to record some christmas shows - bah

I doubt it, since you dont have a Adaptec VideOh!.

The error message your seeing is just a generic message which means it failted to start the recording. There can be many different errors that can cause a recording not to start. The error on you machine will be different, and something to do with your PVR150 set up.

What country are you in?

You can zip and email your logs to me at support@devnz.com and I'll take a look.
