Installed new firmware without an issue and edited my working telnet.html file to use the new format. Apparently I no longer need to pass a user name with the share name like I had to when using the old [SMB] formatting.

I continually got an error so I simply removed my username@ info in the sharename and all is well.

As for the firmware and the performance on the shares I can say that it is much faster than before.

That's why I suggested browsing to http://xx.xx.xx.xx:8883/network_share.html
you likely would have seen that username and password where gone.
