Recording Status While in Live TV?

Is there a way to get the current recording status while watching Live TV?

What do you mean exactly? If you're using the VMR renderer you can go press the 'home' key, then go to the recordings screen.

Thanks for the quick reply. I didn't realize you were right there yesterday.

The Home key does provide a way to get to the main GB menu, and then to the Recordings menu. But, I am looking for a way to see the status of each individual tuner.

I would like to be able to get to the recording status list (like the one that is accessed from the GB icon in Windows) without interrupting a live show. Right now I have to either leave the system in "Windowed" mode and use a mouse (not desired) or completely exit GB to get to this command. Is there a better way?

No, there is nothing in the app that would show you this.

Maybe its something to consider for the System Status menu.

But it hasn't been updated to work with PVRX2.

I had thought I'd seen it on the gbpvr.exe system status page at one time? I'm sure I could see the tuner status on the MVP - old age, can't remember if it was a plug in, or built in though!

I used this with some older versions of GB-PVR, but when I upgraded to an HVR-1600, it didn't show it. I also think I had some other SW incompatibility. Don't know if will even work with newer GB versions. An updated version would be nice to have.

Maybe if you ask Wakalaka nicely, they will update the plugin for PVRX2. But the wiki page does the source code. So if you have any programming experience, it could be updated.
