I have an HVR-1600 on my new server and I would like to know if there's a config file (other than qam.ini) that would have all my tuner info for my already tuned QAM channels on it. Reason is, I have some people in the same cable area that would like to get QAM going and I would like to make it easy for them like: " Hey, here have my QAM config files and fired it up!"

I understand it may not be that easy due to whatever the EPG guide might be, but if they use the same epg it should be close.

Thanks.

You may want to take a look at this. Not sure if it will work for what you are looking for, but if it does, I'd appreciate the feedback and comments.

nice util...i just copy my SCAN-1.cache to SCAN-2.cache and then map the channels, saves the scanning part that takes so long...Smile
i like that yours does the channel mapping too tho..
