No pragramme details suddenly

Hi there,

I've been successfully loading my progamme details from an xml file scaped by XMLTVGUI from Digiguide.

Suddenly, I have 'no program details' fro all channels.

My little update batch file seems to be working ok but it's suddenly getting through the 'update EPG' part too quickly (normally takes a few minutes),

Can you help at all?

I attatch my latest logs.

Have you checked the size of the XML file? Your batch file may be working but the connection to DigiGuide could be failing.

Like others, I use the Radio Times site and there have been occasions when it has been down or channel data not available resulting in empty XML files etc.

it's pretty big (around 33,000kb), it also seems to be full of programme info (I can see the programme descriptions if Ioipen it up)

It sounds like it has some duplicate channel names in your xmltv file.

to try and solve this, I removed both of my recording sources (DVB-T and DVB-S) and removed all the channels from Digiguide.

I re-built my channel list in Digiguide ...

Now when I update my EPG from the xml file grabbed from Digiguide, I only get about a half of the channels (30ish out of 72). The number varies if I swap the order of the channels around in digiguide itself... I've tried using two different grabbers with the same outcome...

Its because the xmltv file you're feeding to GB-PVR has an error in it. It has duplicate channels.

If you zip and attach the xmltv file, I'll be able to give you an example of what is wrong with the file.

Well, I seem to have fixed it...

Went to Alan Birtles' home page and found a suggestion to disable skin caching in digiguide, (customise-->advanced-->web service-->cache skins)..

This seems like it has fixed it!
