Unknown channels; (no show details)

I am new to GBPVR and I have 2 problems.
1. After a channel scan, some channels show as Unknown#. By checking the schedules I have worked out that 1 is ITV1, 2 ITV2, 4 Rabbit, 5 Channel 4, 6 E4, 7 More4, 8 Channel 4+1, 11 Gay Rabbit, 12 Five and 13 ITV2+1; there are no Unknowns 3, 9 or 10. There doesn’t seem to be a way to change the channel name via the Channels tab. (Kworld’s HyperMediaCenter identifies these channels correctly.)
2. The EPG gives (no show details) for BBC1, BBC2, ITV3, ITV4, Film4, eight of the Unknowns and 15 other channels, although when I click on them they show the current programme. How can I get the programme titles for those channels to show in the EPG?

Try running Re-RegisterFilters.bat located in the GBPVR program directory.

No change, I’m afraid. I have tried the Delete Mappings button to clear the channels and start again but that doesn’t appear to do anything.

I had GB-PVR running on XP with a Hauppage Nova T 500 dual PCA tuner and all was well on one box. Moved the card to a Dell 4700 box with same XP operating system and I'm now getting half the channels showning Unknown12, Unkmown13 etc. Recording works OK just can't rename anything or get proper names to appear in EPG... This is on Midlands/Oxford EPG signal. Help.... please

Maybe try the download from here http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/board/showthread.php?t=18418 - it will give you an idea of your signal strength and quality on each mux.

I too am having the same problems with marginal signal strength Muxes.
The biggest problem seems to be there is no way I can find to manually edit the channel line up, tuning request, epg number etc.

I find the Mapping of channels to be very hit and miss. Sometimes it maps the right channels, sometimes it maps the wrong audio version and I can't seem to force it to the right one.

Are you using a splitter on your antenna?
