Getting an output MPG with both streams is freaky easy with ffmpeg but currently impossible with MEncoder... :-(
I actually have MEncoder as the preferred transcoder because it does colour correction and srt.
But I suspect that when I detect that there are two audio streams in an input avi using mplayer, that ZProcess could switch the transcoder to ffmpeg temporarily. I do that already for dvr-ms transcoding.
It just means that you don't have all the bells and whistles of MEncoder. In many cases though FFmpeg is quite fine...
I'll need a couple of days to actually write it into the code. But I have proof of concept.
Martin, what needs to be done to do audio switching with the mvpmc dongle.
(And BTW, what's the latest that you usually dish out?)
