Sub, you must be lucky and maybe it's a batch hardware related thing but the HVR-930c I have is only working with the drivers from package WinTV6 v4.8 (drivers v5.8.925.26269 - 25/09/2008). We all now that those drivers are not good as they only support DVB-T in GBPVR.
The latest drivers available from Hauppauge are v5.81107.26322 - 17/11/2008, as included in their latest release of winTV7 - v1.2, and they do not detect any DVB-T/C channels in GBPVR or in WinTV7 on the Belgium region (cable operator Telenet and DVB-T by national TV channels).
I've called Hauppauge Germany and they confirmed they have big issues for WinTV7 to get the HVR-930c working properly. I do not know for which regions or in what respect they have received so many complaints but something wrong is going on for this peace of hardware. I've also learned the chipset manufacturer is blocking a number of linux driver releases, don't know why but that is published on the Terratec drivers website, so I wonder whether this is a mature product?

I'm not sure what to do now, returning the HVR-930c as RMA or go for something like the Twinham as you mentioned.
Pfff ... peace of cake
