Enhanced Web Admin (EWA) Build 77 Released

I followed the instructions in the wiki for installing build 77. I am pretty sure I didnt delete the bin directory. I will have another go at it later and will post back here.

I "installed" build 77 again following the instructions in the wiki, but again I got the same errors. I am back to build 76.

Ok a few things.

I kept getting that GBPVR Repair so I just made a Web1 folder and mounter that in Cassini. I had to add some dll's to get it to compile for some reason.

Problem: Intermittent server traffic triggers message box "The server method 'GetReminders' failed with the following error: " or something to that avail. Can you make this a status strip across the top like gmail? The alert box pulls focus in firefox and its really annoying.

Problem: Manage.Aspx gives me Server Error in '/' Application.

Wishlist: Can we get a flash player or silverlight player someday?

Don't know what is triggering that to occur on your machine...I just re-installed build 77 on 3 machines....2 xp and one Vista and no auto-repair was triggered.

The alert box is triggered by either your browser or the ASP.Net Ajax framework itself. Some people have reported that they get the message periodically.

The only thing that I can attribute it to is that the browser cannot reach the server to get the necessary information via it's Ajax calls. I am working to add a disable option for people that have systems that cannot handle the Ajax calls.

I did a complete re-install of GBPVR from scratch and re-built everything....now I get the auto-repair.....not sure what is triggering it though.....but at least you know you are not going crazy....

(Upgrade was to a quad phenom and Vista x64, from twin Athlon and XP32)

Browsers affected: Firefox 2 and Firefox 3 (Happens on localhost and remote client)

Any hints on removing them?

Next release (coming out soon) provides the ability to turn off Ajax functionality for those with server/network issues that are causing the messages to appear.
