This has just started happening after months of happy viewing

zero length recordings of scheduled programmes

Both tuners work fine (Hauppauge DVBT 500 dual).

I have used hcwclear and reinstalled the latest drivers from Hauppauge.

I have tried running with AVG/Firewall and spybot resident turned off

Any ideas on what to try?

Win xp sp2

GBPVR 1.2.13

Does it detect channels if you try to force a channel scan in the 'map digital channels to epg channels' screen?

Yes - I use xmltv to specify the channels and it detects all of them (plus lots of others)

To be honest, I'm not really sure.

OK - I will keep a watch on this and see if I can spot any patterns in the failed recordings.

Got it (I think)

Checked the error logs and got

Faulting application gbpvrrecordingservice.exe, version 1.0.3228.14980, stamp 00000032, faulting module mpgmux.ax, version 5.0.0.727, stamp 41067995, debug? 0, fault address 0x00018fcc

I have now switched from Cyberlink to TS Mux - will this mean I can't convert to MPEG from DVR-MS?
