BBC Recordings create 2k files?

When I schedule a recording on 'BBC One NI' it creates a 2k video file and crashes my mvp when I try to open it.

I recently moved my gb-pvr setup to a Windows Server 2003 based machine. I never had problems with BBC channels before using the same freeview card/aerial but I did also have problems getting the dvb epg update to pick up details for a few of the BBC channels after the move to 2003.

I guess it is something to do with the frequency the BBC channels are coming out on but I am no expert on these matters.

Any help appreciated, log attached.

Chris

Can you post the GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log aswell?

The logs look ok from what I can tell.

If all recordings for this channel fail, then maybe they've changed to PIDs used by this channel, and you'll need to rescan and remap the channel.

This is an example of a show that is on the problem channel and creating the now standard 2k file?

I'm not too sure what you meant about remapping?

Cheers,

Chris

If you hit the 'rescan' button in the 'map digital channel to epg channels' button, then reselect the tuning request, it'll remap it to the new PIDs.
