Newb question: PC hardware min requirements

Hello all! Newbie here, and I have yet to install the GBPVR application... I have:

PVR-350 card
ATI Radeon 7500 64MB card (using the TV-Out)
Abit NF7 Motherboard
AMD Athlon XP 2500+ (32bit)
1GB RAM (PC-2700, if I remember right)
SoundBlaster Audigy card,
Two 120GB WD ATA drives
Windows XP Pro SP3

This system has been up and running for about three years or so.

I've been using the WinTV app for a while that came with the PVR-350, and it only listens on channel 3, using the cable box to change channels. I don't do fancy recording schedules, just whatever I see is on at the time.

Is this good enough hardware to run GBPVR? I didn't see a minimum requirements on the wiki page.

Also, is it safe to install GBPVR alongside the WinTV app, to test it? Thanks!

I was using a system of similar specs for my first GBPVR. The only thing I think that you'll have trouble with is that video card. I was using a Radeon 9800SE and it was fast enough but I haven't used a slower card than that. Trying it won't hurt.

And yes, you can have WinTV installed on the same system as GBPVR. I still use WinTV occasionally for testing.
