ZTranscode - Run-time error '75'

I found a previous reference to this error in another thread but it was not able to help me solve this.

I have GBPVR 1.3.7 and installed the latest release of ZProcess2 (ZProcess 2.0.293, ZTranscode 2.1.99). I believe that I have followed the installation process as outlined in the wiki.

Every time I try to run ZProcess, I get a popup on the server "ZTranscode - Run-time error '75': Path/File access error <OK>". This happens if I run ZProcess manually on the server or if I try to view or transcode the "16-9 Pattern.wmv" test file.

Also, you mention a couple of log files, but the only log file that gets created is the ZProcess2.log file, which am attaching.

Do you need any other details?

Ignore the last. Fixed that problem by updating mencoder to 1.0rc2 and putting that path into ZProcess2.

Now I'm getting "Transcoder died early..". Will search for that solution elsewhere.

Definitely grab the very latest versions (ZProcess and ZTranscode) from my Beta thread. I'm heavy tweaking now, and wanna know as soon as something isn't working...

While testing, only use ZTranscode.

Open it, select a file and press start. Click view after a few seconds. Then press stop. You can then zip and send the contents of the logs folder to me, and we'll look...

'Transcoder died early', usually means that it doesn't like something and died well before the GB-PVR PrePlayDelay or something is competing with it for CPU grunt.

You tell if ZTranscode doesn't like a file by manually testing...

Also, you may want to unhide the console windows while testing... Open ZTranscode, click settings, click 'Trans2MVP' ( or make sure it's selected) and then uncheck 'Hide Consoles'... Click 'Save'

Try again. If the console window disappears almost immediately, then the file and Mencoder aren't liking each other... (Or you've tweaked some settings from their defaults...)
