MVPMCX2 and HDX1000 not connecting

There should be no difference between mvpmcx2 running from CSI or the share unless you choose to override the command line (not recommended). They are interchangeable once you load with one selection that is what you need to stick with or power down.

Resend all your gbpvr logs when you are playing live tv.

I wish there was a guide to config.xml but this is not something sub wants. In PCH2 mode the transcoding values aren't used.

Thanks. Seemed to be doing something overnight while on black screen. I ran LiveTV just now and attached logs. Black screen again!:mad:

It looks you can't stream any files from GBPVR to your HDX

Make sure that Interact with Desktop is checked for the recording service.

Because your Recording Directory is your HDX machine (it is a slow share I am surprised it works) you would only notice this on Live TV and files that aren't play directly from HDX.

Thanks a lot. This fixed the LiveTV playing.
In order to get Recording to the NMT working I had to set login to be my user not anonymous - so recording is now broken. Any ideas?
BTW, no problems in past with writing recording direct to NMT (all Cat6 cabling).

You should be able to run the Recording Service with nmt and password 1234 and still keep the Interact with Desktop option or you can use my ShareHelper utility http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=43067 to map your \\SMP8634 at the Local System level.

I'm glad the drive keeps up, it probably won't be too bad if you don't want to add other clients, or record and watch multiple streams, especially HD.

Thanks for all your help. This seems to all work now. The only remaining problem is one of the channels (the only one with offset) saying it is no signal (other s/w using the same card receives ok). A couple of threads about Channel 9 but no solution posted that I can find
