Another update on this issue...
Sub: Last time you logged into my machine, you checked all codecs etc. You were using the same as myself, save for the microsoft mpeg2 demux.
Having checked verions in XP, it was the correct one. You were using Windows VIsta at the time.

SO I installed the Windows 7 Beta (Vista Mark II!) and guess what.. it does play back okay! ;-)

Presumably then, it would also work with standard Vista install on my machine.

I think found what was happening on your machine this morning. This patch posted earlier today would probably have fixed it: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=3...stcount=14. This thread specifically mentions the ArcSoft decoder, but it also effected other decoders, and some machines seemly more than others.

I'm glad you got it going though.

HI Sub,

That fix does not work for me on XP.

I only used a test machine I have to upgrade to Windows7. At least I know it can work. Dont think I will upgrade my PVR machine just yet!

Beside I am happy with version 1.12. I just hope you dont release some killer feature some time soon ;-)

Ok, it was worth a shot though.

Still - others on XP are not having this problem, so must be something different about your machine that hasnt been identified yet.
