Okay, I feel guilty making a wish list post since this is FREE software and it kicks ass...but, since the forum is here [Image: smile.gif]

1. The ability to do everything with the mouse ONLY leaving no need for a KB.

2. An episode aware scheduler. I keep getting repeat episodes when I get a 'season pass'. Also, when I cancel one of the repeat episodes on Monday, the GB software relists them the next day (presumably since it reloads the tv guide and then updates the record to do list).

3. Some 'right click' options. Right click a recording and get a pop-up menu with a few options. Right click a pending record and get a different pop up list of common options.

Anyway, like I said, the software is great and I am MOST appreciative of all the hard work. I have only the vaguest idea of programming and can only imagine what went into getting this thing working.

I do not think number 3 right click options will ever happen since it does not translate well for MVP users.

Where possible I try to make everything available to the mouse, but remote control and keyboard are my primary input device, so mouse support comes second. I know there are somethings you cant currently do via the mouse, and I'll fix these in a later release.

Unfortunately for most countries (including my home - New Zealand), the episode information is not available, so I've not written any features that rely on this.

jorm is correct. right mouse click is never going to happen. This is not possible on XCard, PVR350 or MVP. All functionality must be available through either the keyboard or remote.

Ah, excellent info, thanks. Is there any remote that can do ALL the controlling or is it exclusively a combo (ie keyboard AND remote).

All hail the Kiwis!

The Hauppauge remotes can do all functions.
