Just curious, which do you think it was that fixed it - using the batch file or the allowing it to interact with the desktop setting? (or you don't know because like me you did both at the same time!)

One data point is: When I had symptoms like yours, the problem was fixed with the "interact with the desktop" change. I've never run the batch file.

Good to know. I might have to do some updating...

I can't say for certain that it was because of the batch file. I've been playing with my tuners a bit lately - I've been pulling and reinstalling a PVR-150 as I play with an HVR-1600 so I've been mucking about a lot with the input sources and it seems every time I do that it screws with the recurring and pending programs. Still, I thought I'd checked that (and fixed it with the pvrx2.exe -removehistory / epg reload) last time I pulled the 1600 and reinstalled the 150. I may be wrong though, so it may not be related the batch file.

For those who read this thread in the future and try the batch file please pay attention to this and post back if you see this problem.

Interestingly enough I just went to look at the new enhancer and when I checked the log file for the one I'm currently using it seems I am using the most recent version.

From the log file:
10/27/2008 10:41:17 PM : UltraXMLTV Enhancer v 1.2.127

Like I said earlier, everything was working fine but then I got to mucking about - I played with MC2XML (Why? Curiosity mostly as I do have a Schedules Direct account) and around the same time I started playing with the HVR-1600 so I've changed epg sources back and forth and I've been playing with the tuners. Somewhere, but who knows where, in all of that the interact with desktop got turned off (it would have to have been turned off after I installed the your enhancer as it checks for it and it did work for a while after installing it) and who knows what else got messed with.

I guess I should've been more methodical and just changed one thing at a time to figure out what fixed the problem, but the holidays are coming up and time was short so I figured I'd try the bat file as I didn't think it could hurt anything and I decided to check the interact with desktop because I didn't think that would hurt anything either. Problem is now that things are fixed I'm curious as to what fixed it! :o
