I'm monitoring my switch using MRTG, I can assure you that the traffic between my MVP and my media GBPVR server never goes over 4.8Mbits/s when watching recordings. This is more than sufficient for wireless. Even 802.11b will do it (and I've done it).

Anyone know what revs of firmware PCAlchemy or Newegg are currently shipping that have ordered recently?

That's what I plan to do... Use my linkssys wireless bridge to connect the MVP to my PC upstairs over 802.11b. If that fails, I'll run a cable I guess [Image: smile.gif]

I just set upa friend with a Linksys wireless G router and bridge setup to get cable tv out to a guest house/gameroom on his property. The units are over 200 ft apart and it work great once we upgraded to larger antennas on both sides.

BTW - The video server is an PIII-900 with a Hauppage 250 PVR installed. It keeps up just fine once we upgraded to 256mb ram and set the virtual memory and live tv files on seperate hard drives.

Great job sub!

LOL they are like McDonalds around here [Image: smile.gif]

I'll poke around this weekend, but I have to be honest, since I set up the pvr-150 through graphedit and increased my bit rates I couldn't be happier. I almost seems clearer in many cases!
