Please be aware that Jon at USB-UIRT who developed the product has pointed out that the USB-UIRT needs a slightly different driver to get the repeated codes working. I would suggest that anyone who is having this issue contact him, as he is very helpful.

I am having the same problem that the training just flies through. I put the usb-uirt under a pillow to check if it was an ambient light issue, however it still happened. I also unplugged the usb-uirt from the computer and tried training again - same thing happened. Is there any advice besides rebooting / reinstalling?
