On activation I call DatabaseHelperFactory.getDbProviderFactory().CreateConnection() and DatabaseHelperFactory.getDbConnectionString(). That connection is opened and closed whenever the uiList is refreshed with playback status. I thought the actual database would be hidden away by this interface and that plugins couldn't have an effect on each other's behavior.

Yeah, thats the theory. Infact, this is the first time I've ever seen anything that indicates there might be a problem.

Post the logs showing the problem and I'll take a look.

Here is the logs after I (sort of) recreated some problems.
I have added 4 sets of logs as I wasn't totally sure that I could reproduce the problems.

logs1.rar - I installed 1.3.11 with Music plugin. Opened it and browsed through most of the pages (not LiveTV) - with Swedish language set.

logs2.rar I created a copy of gbpvr.db3 ("renamed.db3") and changed config.xml to use that one. Browsed around, all seems to work as expected.

logs3.rar Installed Videos Library. Opened pvrx2, browsed around and got a exception when I opened Videos Library. (still using renamed.db3).

logs4.rar I try to reproduce the crash without success - But now is all menus in English, even if Swedish is set default.

Note: I am not totally sure that the english menus didn't occur in step 3 as well...

I hope this spread some light on the problem.

Is there some other test I should run, please let me know.
