Nova T 500 in tuning assistant

Hi,

I just bought a Nova T 500 (dual dvb-t) to replace my old hauppauge analog tuner.
I'm trying to run the tuning assistant but my card is not on the list of devices. How can I tune the channels?

GB-PVR v1.3.11

I've run ScanChannelsBDA_UK.exe and it seemed to find the channels ok (Freeview in NZ). Here's an example from the log:

I'm new to digital tuners. Have read a good chunk of wiki and forums but don't think I have a good high level overview yet.

you add digital tuners different as you may have worked out
the tuning assistant is analog only
add as digital recording plugin
set up your epg source
then click map digital channeles to epg
all in config/capture sources /edit recording source box

Thanks, that's what I was missing. That would make a good addition to the quick start wiki.

In case it helps anyone else who is using ffdshow, when I clicked the button to map digital channels ffdshow asked if I wanted to allow Config.exe to access ffdshow. It hung and would not allow me to continue. I fixed this by adding ;Config.exe to several whitelist registry settings for ffdshow (run regedit and search for "whitelist").
