I use KM Player to watch my recordings, and it would be nice if the file names created by GBPVR included not just the show name, but the episode name as well.

(This post was last modified: 2009-01-24, 06:34 PM by skycyclepilot.)
I downloaded the file and unzipped it. There is the .EXE file and a .CS file. There is no PostProcessing.BAT in any of the GBPVR folders on my PC, so I created it and put it in the GBPVR root, along with the .EXE and .CS files.
I put "RenameRecording.exe -t %1 > rename.log" in the .BAT file. I've double checked everything, but it doesn't work...

Renamerecordings is obsolete AFAIK - it certainly stopped working for me some time ago.
(we need to update the wiki) try wizrenamerecordings instead http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utility/WizUtilities

That works. It'll rename all the files in the GB-PVR Recordings folder.
Do I just run it once in a while manually, or can it be set up to do the name change after each recording?

I'll mark the other as obsolete. Thanks

Can the utility be set up to automatically rename files after they are recorded?

create/edit postprocessing.bat. this runs after each recording is complete.
mine says:- WizRenameRecording %1 "({episode}{or}{show})"
