I recently upgraded to 1.3.11. I also moved my recordings to a larger hard drive. Now, when I go to recordings, it says that there aren't any. It does show pending recordings. I changed the directory in config and tried to Import Recordings without any luck. The files are all still there, but gbpvr just doesn't show them. Is there a way I can fix this?

Thanks,

Jeff

gbpvr uses a database since you moved the recording gbpvr sees thats the recording are no longer in the place they are mean to be
the easiest way to get them back in the recordings list is to download "vidimport" from the wiki and drag and drop the top folder of where your recordings are stored and it ill automatically put them back in the database for you
if you have recordings or video files elsewhere on your machine you can use vidimport to save them to the database also its a very handy tool

you need .net3.5 for vidimport to run (.net3.0 will not work)

or you run config.exe and import the backup file called something like recordings-backup.xml that is created every time you update the EPG.

I ran vidimport and it fixed it. I will have to keep this in mind the next time I make changes like this.

Thanks for the help.

Or tweak config.xml from true to false.

Code:
<AutoRemoveMissingRecordings>false</AutoRemoveMissingRecordings>

I'm not sure when 'true' would be really beneficial.

I have a lot of videos brought into Recordings with vidimport that reside on various computers on my network. Using "true" is a disaster for me if the other comps are offline. OTOH, sometimes I move or delete those videos, so it's useful to turn on occasionally. It automatically deletes all the broken links I've made by that housekeeping. I just have to make m sure the other comps are up and running.
