Hi folks,

After some time of observing the forums looking for answers while building a test rig the time has come to bit the bullet and get a system built for purpose.

I have a Silverstone GD01-MX case turning up in the next couple of days, which brings me to my point; As the case has an inbuilt IR receiver I'd rather not have to use an external USB reciever to hang an IR blaster off to control the Sky box (I plan to feed the Sky box in via a S-VHS connection on a capture card for recording).

Is anyone aware of either a USB or Serial IR Transmitter that would be supported or usable? Hardware wise I've found a serial transmitter usable with MythTV, but with out software of some kind it's pretty useless. All suggestions welcome.

I've done the usual forum search, but couldn't find anything, which could well be me. Apologies if the answer is there I couldn't find it. Smile

I use a Red-Eye to control my Sky box. But I do it with a Digi-eye at the far end of RF2 as the server and STB are a few floors apart. For me it is more reliable than the PVR150 blaster.

Slightly confused - the one I mentioned isn't the same device. I went for the other one on price.
