Hi. First of all - i am new here.

I finished setup of GB-PVR on my HTPC few days ago, and can say it is working realy great. Thanks GB-PVR team!

I noticed one problem.
If i enter in to LiveTV, picture freeze. I need to go back to menu, then reenter in to LiveTV, now all is OK.

I did some research and found, that if i change deinterlacing to nothing, problem seems to be gone, bud interlaced video is realy ugly to watch.

I am on XP SP3, using Analog Hauppage 1300 + Cyberling MpgMux.

Setting output to TS/MS-DVR have no efect.

Any ideas how to fix it?

Thanks!

PS Sorry for my english.

EDIT: I will post LOGs as soon as possible.

Your English is much better than my Czech. Indeed, your English seems better than a lot of native speakers, so no worries Wink

I suspect your problem is with your mpeg-2 decoder. Which one do you have selected? Do you have another your could try?

You should leave the deinterlacing set to 'encoder pass through', and as johnsonx42 recommends above you probably need to try a different combination of decoders.

If you cant get it working, post the logs and I'll take a look.

I am using latest available Cyberlink MPEG2 decoder "CLVsd.ax" v.8.2.0.926. It have very good picture quality (DVD's too), possibility to turn on DXVA, brightness correcton, etc..., it is working great with MS DVD navigator.

I can try free "Mpeg2DecFilter.ax" from MPC-HC project.

LOGs attached

I run GB-PVR - goes to LiveTV - then exit GB-PVT back to windows.
3 times it works, 4th time i got freeze in Live TV, even sound was stoped.
I need to go back to main menu and reenter in to LiveTV again to make it working.

And yes, i have set "encoder pass through". If i set to none, no freezes at all.

BTW - is there a way how to connect graphstudio to check "in use" filters?

Just to pipe in here, I have the same problem on my system.
I recently added an Adaptec 3610 dual tuner, and I noticed the same thing when going into live tv.
If it will help I can post my logs as well when I get a chance.
