IRServer not changing channels on STB

Attached is the log file for your review. At about 21:05 PM, I selected channel 220 in the TVGuide. Then I tried entering a different channel (nothing happeneied). Finally I went up 4 channels. The display at the bottom changed each time I went up but the STB did not change channels.

Things seem fine from the GB-PVR side. Its managing to run the specified executable with no error returned. I have no way to know if IRBlast.exe is having problems during its processing though.

Are those the channel numbers your cable box is expecting? 221, 222, 223, 224?

Yes, those are the channel numbers for Bell ExpressVu.

Ok. Looks fine from the GB-PVR side then. Must be something going wrong in IRBlast.exe or any server process it talks to. You'll have to look for logs it has to find out what is happening. Maybe also make sure you dont have a firewall stopping IRBlast.exe from communicating over TCP/IP.

Gotta love Windows Firewall. I disable it and I was able to change channels on my STB using the up and down buttons.

Unfortunately, I still can not use the number pad on the remote.

I finally got the remote working using the number pad in both the LiveTV and the TV Guide. Instead of using IR Server Suite 1.0.4.1, I upgraded to Test Build 1.4.2.2627 found here http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/mce-re...7-a-33512/

I t made a world of difference in using the remote and controlling the STB.
