Hi,

I don't know what I have changed (maybe Windows Update) but for a couple of days I'm struggling to get my TV working again. I'm using 1.3.11, but I have tried to go back to 1.1.5 and the same happens. Whenever I go to Watch or Live TV, it returns back to the TV Guide. When I schedule a recording no file is being created. I cannot make any logical connection what might be causing it. My Plextor PX-TV402U tuner works fine with VirtualDub and InterVideo WinDVR 5, it just stopped working with GBPVR. I have also disabled my XP firewall to take it out of the equation.

Please help, I'm beaten.

In my log files I found something about

ConnectPins: 'Video Decoder Out' to 'Analog Video In'
Dest pin for connect not found
ConnectPins failed: hr = 80004005

and

Unexpected error: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Sorry, I'm not really sure. These GO7007SB devices havnt been supported or tested with GB-PVR in a long time. From memory, it need some specific Intervideo software installed? You havent removed any Intervideo apps recently? My memory is real hazy on these devices.

OK. I finally solved it by reinstalling Plextor drivers. I have noticed their PlextorGoCap capture software didn't work as well. Reinstall Plextor drivers fixed it together with GBPVR.
It's too bad you don't support it anymore. It's a marvelous box offering HW DivX real-time encoder taking almost no CPU power when recording. With the right software as GBPVR its a perfect match. I didn't have any problems with it for the last 3 years of almost daily use so I guess that's why I was looking for a solution at the wrong place.

I think it comes with InterVideo WinDVR 5 software for recording, but I don't think it is needed.

Thanks anyway and keep up the good work...

Hey! another tv402 user!

You're the only other one I've ever spotted here.

It's a great device, but it wasn't that popular, and it's LONG time out of date, so I don't blame sub for not keeping up with it.

I was pretty disappointed not to find something like it for HD when I finally relented and bought the 2250, and I still use it as much as the 2250. I guess there's stuff that will convert mpeg2 ts to h264, but I wasn't interested in that.
