I have a ATI RADEON 9600 PRO APG card that requires a 7 pin s-video cable. See this page here.

If the newer cards such as the SAPPHIRE HD 3450 256MB have a standard 4 pin s-video I will be very happy. I actually have a few of those cables floating around! I'll work on getting a better shielded cable later if needed.

I think thats saying that you can still plug a svid (4 pin) cable into the 7 pin card socket fine. the extra holes are for componant vid and wouldn't be connected or used with a 4 pin cable.
