IE8 not getting past EWA-login

Hey,

I'm having problems logging in to the EWA with IE8.
I get the login-screen, but I can't get past it. After pressing the login-button, I get the 'Waiting for http://....', but I never get to the guide.

This is working fine on the same PC with Chrome and on another PC with IE7.

This problem only appears when going over the internet. On my local network, the guide opens fine, but I don't need to login in then.

Any ideas?

When I open the EWA locally, and go to the config-tab, it asks me to log in. Logging in locally appears to be working just fine...

Are you really trying to get to EWA from outside or are you just using your external url name from within your internal network? Some routers can not handle a loopback like that.

If you are really external to your network when this happens post the logs when you get home.....you can get to them on the statistics tab of EWA there is a link for the log file.

Using my external url from within my internal network works ok. Although it doesn't ask me for a login, so I'm guessing it still detects I'm connecting internally.
I only have (or had) the problem when connecting externally from IE8.
But I now just discovered that when connecting externally when connected to the LAN at work, it's OK.
So I only have the problem with IE8 and connecting over ADSL...

So, I guess it's really something network-related, and has nothing to do with GBPVR.
