Going back and looking at the first set of logs you posted, it looks like you don't have any decoders installed.
Extract the attached file to a folder of your choice like "C:\MPC" then double click "install.bat". It will install the MPC Mpeg2 video decoder and the MPC audio decoder (old builds but they should work). Then try scanning with GBPVR again.
Zip and attach your config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log if it still doesn't find channels.
Re-ran HDHR config and it appeared to run the firmware update again. Installed the MPC decoders and re-ran the Channel Mapping in config. Still finds nothing. Logs attached.
My Schedules Direct trial has now expired. Will this affect further testing or should the Map Channels step still be able to complete correctly despite old guide data?
What else can we try?
These settings will have GBPVR wait longer for the PSIP data so scanning will take longer. Use notepad to edit the file. Wordpad will corrupt it. Creating a backup first is a good idea.
The SD trial won't affect anything for now, you'll just have "No Details" for everything in your current guide.
Not sure exactly what fixed it, but it was one of these things. After changing the config.xml file I ran the Map Channels and it failed again. I then rebooted the HD Home Run (first time since firmware update today), added config.exe to the Windows Firewall exceptions; exited and restarted the recording service on the computer.
After that I ran the Map Channels again and it worked like a charm. Everything showed up in the list and I was able to assign the EPG channels to the found channels.
PVRX2 now works with Live TV. Now I just need to get my client PCs setup and connected to the server.
