I recently started using GB-PVR (v1.3.11) and am having difficulty with the channels on a certain frequency. For reference, this is with a Hauppauge HVR-1600 on cable. The channels in question are all on 5.x, aka 79MHz. Both WinTV and TSReader can tune to and watch them just fine; they are indeed clear QAM channels. GB-PVR, however, does not pick them up in the channel scan and if added manually using either the frequency or channel equivalent, I get nothing but a message from GB-PVR stating the channels are encrypted.

Logs attached to this post. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction!

Set the log level to "Debug", rescan and then post the config.*.log files

GBPVR is not detecting a signal on that frequency. You can try using the QAM.ini Manager to try alternate frequencies.

That would seem to be the problem, yes. Here's a screen of TSReader on the same system picking it up just fine. I have tried QAM.ini Manager to set the use of channel frequencies instead of channels numbers, but the results are the same.

PM me your zip code and provider so I can see the exact frequencies for your channels.

Try the "Center frequencies" setting with the QAM.ini Manager. The frequency that it should be scanning is 77250 because the Hauppauge driver will automatically add a 1.75 MHz offset to reach the center frequency (77250 + 1750 = 79000).

I have a simillar problem, but don't if it is the same issue. From my channels scan missing Comcast channel 51, Disney Channel Zip 33172. Using the STB is says frequency 75.24 775 mhz.
Haven't tried center frequencies, but the question is I guess I would not affected my other channels mappings, right?
